it's awesome car, I am driving one for 9 years and I don't know better car from that time as overall city car... yes, nothing for long highway runs, but up to 120 kph just fine, considering you don't put there heavy things, and not more than 2-3 persons... fuel consuption, practicality, price, power (enough for decent city driving)... I love it

idiots!!!!what do you want from 1.2????if you want 5 s to 100 then buy any japanese with turbo.this car must carry yours ass from home to job etc...must be economical,this is most important with this car no speed.

@Viriatus Fabia mk1 with same engine is slower!! heavier..i drove it at driving school,you need to go full gas if you wanna beat the traffic

@Dimitris227 yeah i know, one of my cars is almost as slow as that. a 1998 fiat palio with a 61hp 4cyl 1 liter engine. it doesnt really have low consumption though. the engine is so weak it has to rev higher than other cars to go uphill or keep a decent speed and that makes it waste more fuel than a good 1.4 or 1.6 liter engine. but it still gets the job done alright.

@GraveUypo well is good for driving around the town ! may is not fast but is relaxing for only 1.2 and it has low consumption !

@Dimitris227 starts reving around 3.7 seconds in, starts moving 4,4 seconds in, hits 100kph 24.5 seconds in. so probably much, much closer to 20 seconds than 18.

18 sec for 100?  and i thought that my golf 75hp was the slowest vw car! anyway it does it job !
