Flipped the image hack for my DVX100b. No longer have to use an external monitor. My focusing and stablazation will get better now that I don't have all that additional weight. The M2 ways a ton.

  • Hi! Hod did you get the 16:9 view?

  • This video is not in 16x9 this video is in 4x3 Letterbox.

    Thanks,

  • How did you export the video?

  • Check out other videos using Sorrenson Squeeze in order to export directly to .flv files in order to get better looking compression.

  • what is the name of that first transition with the orange?

  • @NC17z what would that mojo be?, looking at the stats, the XL2 seems such a more powerful capable camera than the DVX100? and it looks the part :D

  • what is the song? i like it....i like it a lot

  • em... i guess the image is quite blury for film but i am hoping it is because of the compresion

  • What he is saying is that the DOF 35mm adapter when put on the camera lens it flips the image upside down, and sideways too. By having a flip module, that has two mirrors inside, corrects the image and flips it back to normal. Thus u don't need a external monitor that u usually turn upside down, so u can see properly. I do prefer a monitor anyway as u will ned a bigger picture for focusing purposes.

  • wait soo let me get this straight u used to use an external monitor Why is that what does the external monitor offer?? so im guessing this monitor is attatched thus doing this " flip " u no longer need the external monitor

So what is gained by doing this flip?? What exactly is the flip???

    Tell me what it does???.....,

All i understand is that u no longer have to carry the extra weight of an external monitor,.......?

  • The redrock micro allows the use of 35mm SLR lenses to be put onto a camera. It repicates the look of film. And yes, there are many cheap cameras with 24P and mic inputs. Look up any Canon Vixia model camera.

  • I got a letus so I wouldn't have to deal with the image flip, but now redrock has an adapter that'll flip the image too

  • wat is the redrock micro exactly and whats its purpose. are there any cheap camera's by panasonic or any make that offers 24p give me suggestions for cameras in alower price range

  • How did you actually hack it? I'm thinking about getting a redrock for my 100b, but heard about the image flip issues. Let me know... thanks!
