Kristen Maloney discusses her injuries and how she has no regrets about what she went through to make it to the 2000 Olympics. She had a rod inserted into her tibia because of a stress fracture that would not heal. Kristen is recovering from a bone infection in her tibia during this video and is unable to train or compete with UCLA. Kristen Maloney is the most successful Parkette gymnast ever. Kristen Maloney is one of two Parkettes to compete at the Olympics, and the only Parkette to win 2 senior national titles, to compete in the AA at the Olympics, to compete in event finals at worlds and to have a skill named after her in the code of points (she has two on uneven bars).
