Haha, on heroic its not even hard. You just have to choose the right level!
If anyone is reading this and still needs the vidmaster achievement endure i prefer: Alpha Site. Me and my friends did it on that level and had 33 lives when we were in set 4.

Ye your not spartans anymore. Though the weapons deal about the same mount of damage your still slower, weaker, and much more vunerable to death. Remember the golden rule: "Take cover, or die".
