Mythbusters Moon Hoax Flag Flapping

The Mythbusters explain the most common confusion doubters have about the US flags planted on the moon. "How can they appear to flutter in the wind when there is not atmosphere on the moon?" I think this video clearly shows the effect a vacuum has on flag movement. Imagine how much more a flag would move in the moon's low gravity!

I was surprised when they took on the moon hoax cult. These kinds of "controversies" usually attract the lowest and least desirable creatures in our society to respond, foaming at the mouth, screaming "shill," or "liar," to defend their laughably preposterous delusions. @SUPerFreakUsa, I suggest you watch the response video to this. It shows clearly that on the basics of the physical laws associated with pendulums, this test proved exactly what it should have. No matter how hard he twists, once he lets go, the flag becomes a free-falling pendulum that can be compared. You can't speed up or slow down a pendulum--you can only reduce its number of "periods" (which is what the air resistance does).

@LunarTuner I agree with you. Mythbusters also busted the "multiple light source" theory that conspirators claim on some of the photographs. I, for one, thought that was suspicious as well, until it was busted on Mythbusters. The rocky terrain of the Moon's surface caused a shift in the shadows.

@JustThatGuyOnline In 1/6th G the flag may not move much longer than it does in 1G. Remember that the energy that goes into the flag as it swings down after the pole was moved depends on the gravity. The motion will be slower so there will be a lot less friction within the flag material. You have two effects that work against each other both of which will be less on the moon.

The telling bit is if you look at the flag motion on the moon, you can see things that show there can't be air.
