I just did my first Partial grain mas today. It was a Black Butte Porter Clone. Cant wait to get set up to do All grain Brew in a Bag. Just need a 10 gallon Brew pot. Gotta wait for the tax return though. Anyhow that Black Butte I did should turn out pretty damn good

How did that batch turn out? I jsut fif a 5 gallon extract Irish stout in which I steeped some roasted oatmeal. Everything looked pretty good in your video. I cant wait till I can afford to move up to all or partial grain brewing. I still have a few weeks left in the bottles for my batch but I tried one tonight and it was a little more bitter than I wanted it. I need to find a good Black Butte Porter clone recipe somewhere

@Dillonfromforks That batch turned out pretty good. i happen to like stout's my batches have turned out not too bitter. you can definitely taste the roasted barley a kind of coffee taste but to my surprise it has a bit of a sweet finish it tastes really good. i think it is because i use an english ale yeast along with a higher than normal fermentation temp. but it works for me. you should do a taste video and post it when your stout is finished
