Str8-Flow Liquid Dance

Me Liquid dancing to DJ Alligator's Davai Davai.( Alligator sucks. His incessant dialogue throught his songs is more than annoying, but the beat on this track was just to sick to ignore.

For those of you that don't know Liquid is the name of the style. Furthermore LPEric is, was and will always be the best Liquid Dancer ever.

Thanks for the comments. I was actually quite rusty while filming this. I hadn't danced for quite awhile so I see what you guys mean about my flow being off. I messed up quite a few moves, but hey practice makes perfect. As for slowing down and picking a slower track I fluctuate tempo, but for this track a higher one seemed warranted. it's just a fun one to dance to. The scene around here favors faster tracks with faster liquid, altho the merits of slower liquid to see the flow better are not lost on me.Thanks for the tips, keep em coming!

Nice. I did a liquid video after a while.

But i did it in the light. People have suggested glowsticks or rave gloves.

What are your gloves called or where could i get some they are real nice.

I recommend practicing without the gloves. Sometimes people will watch their hands too much. Just feel the music literally flow through you. Its hard to explain but i know you understand what im talking about. As far as Eric being the best, well he is really good =p but even he will tell you there is no such thing as the best ^~. Its all about the love of the dance, the music, that feeling, and the heart. PLUR ^^ Keep up the great work, you'll get it =]. Def need improvement, but i like what i c

Thanks for the advice! I hardly ever dance with gloves actually, I just did for this video. I def be interested in what you have to say on some other vids id like to upload. The great ones are always humble, and while you are right that styles can differ greatly and that there can never truly be"the best" he is, imo, perhaps the most accomplished in terms of his flow, style, skill and his all around fluidity are damn near perfect. For me he is what being a Liquid Dancer encompasses. Thanks again

@P3RSONALANG3L agree with shoshenkis. just learn to glide around, if youre stomping or even stepping you lose the illusion of liquid. just take a weeka dn practice with some songs youre already familiar with dancing to and try to minimize the armflow (not take it out completely cuz personally that felt awkward for me) but add in some foot work. look up gliding or cwalk tutorials theyll help a lot with the feet.

I do agree with you there ^~, You have the heart, and i expect to see you out at some venue someday. I'm all over the place, as far as videos of me they do exist but ill have to get them from friends and upload. =] Ill make sure to get on that asap, i usually don't hop on the net too much other than to say hi to people and when im bored hehe. I'd def appreciate feedback from you as well when i do get some videos up. The best way to get better is to have friends critique you =]
