SMV - North Sea Jazz Festival 2009

North Sea Jazz Festival 2009 Stanley Clarke Victor Wooten Marcus Miller SMV. The sound was really like that unfortunately. When you see them live you understand, they share different tasks. Marcus Miller is really good playing the bass lines, he is like the root in the ground. Victor Wooten do a mervellous job as melodic instrument. Stanley Clarke is more playing a bit of everything. It was crazy to see a double bass solo from Stanley Clarke and just before that a Victor Wooten Bass Solo.

Unfortunately, if you sell alcohol and food frontend, and you put lots of concerts, you get this kind of audience. The problem is related to the concept.

He has a custom made bass: the Fodera Ying Yang.

Ok...so you think Victor doesn't have his own sound? You are crazy....lol. you can put him in any band at all and a deaf person can pick out his sound.

He plays a custom made Fodera bass (his own model).

Victor has his own style but he does not have a unique sound like Clark and Miller. He may need to find a custom bass maker that can give him his own sound.
