excellent movie. The trailer promised an epic movie and the movie delivered (except in the nude scene teased at 0:51).

@estagonandfire true, just because it doesn't look like ww2 doesn't mean its fake. The fact that it is actually fake does. What I meant was the exaggerated swings of the sword and leaping to attack somebody just create a fake effect. In real life, if you leapt into the air, sword held high, your opponent would simply drop to his knees and hold his sword out in front of him, pushing it into your stomach with your own weight.

For all we know, battles were fought in this way. Just because it dosnt look like ww2 dosn't mean its fake.

@estagonandfire, I only said that in the trailer seems to say this. The Trojans are still dressed like Persians, and those fights look epicly crap and fake anyway, so I wouldn't want to watch the film.

@karanickolas I have not even seen the film and I can tell that they've twisted it beyond recognition. For one thing, Achilles didn't lead the army as it seems to make out (I could be wrong here, I think it is achilles reffered to as the warrior to fight it), agamemnon did. And yeah, why are they dressed like persians?

Why is the Trojan dress like Persians ? When they are Greek them self ? This is a civil war not the Greeks against troy . Not true to the original story line. Twisted story by Hollywood why? Good movie with a bit propaganda . I wish Hollywood will stop twisting our history once for all..
