@Theldja75 I take one capsule every day and make new capsules roughly once each year. I make over 500 capsules each time and share them with a friend.

@gluejay I'm not sure where you're located but you can certainly buy the plastic machine on Amazon and I get the turmeric at a local bulk food shop. Good luck!

@unclebob100 Best way to get the benefits from turmeric is in a tea form. You are wasting your money if you buy it in capsule form.

I found this type of tea helps me alot!

6 cups water

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ginger

1/2 cloves

Bring to boil

1 to 2 tsp Turmeric

Honey or Lemon for Flavor!

@viviper006 That's a good way to take your turmeric. Be sure you use Ceylon cinnamon (C. verum) instead of the Cassia cinnamon they usually sell at the supermarket. (Cassia contains coumarin, which is mildly toxic.) I usually mix 2 teaspoons of turmeric with some melted coconut oil and simmer it with 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth, 4 slices of ginger root, and 1/4 tsp. of freshly ground black pepper for about 10 minutes. I definitely feel it working within minutes of drinking it.

Namaste! I have been using this system for about five years now and this capsule making device is just great! By the way, adding a bit of black pepper to the turmeric powder increases the potency of the turmeric enormously! The ratio is about 1/4 tsp black pepper to 1 tsp turmeric. My capsule size is 00 (holds 1/2 tsp) so that comes out to about 1/8 tsp black pepper for each capsule so I take two pills three times a day! No arthritis, no muscle pain, and great energy! :))

I thought to myself, I'll just mix it in water and drink the Turmeric! Oh boy was this a bad idea! Now I have yellow teeth! and its very hard to get them to the white shade they were before!

I will be doing the tablet thing. Much better! Also I have heard that its not as effective in tablet form? And That you need to mix it with warm water to be more absorbable and have a better effect. I figured, I'll just take it in Tablet form & drink it down with a cup of warm water or Tea :) Great vid, thx.

I've been manually filling capsules with turmeric lately, & what a messy process that has been! I was just looking online  to see whether they have machines for this.

I might just be insane, but it seems like of all my experiments to find supplements to ward off colds or make me feel better that the turmeric actually does help.

There's a capsule machine online (with a top tray) that claims to put the lids on for you, but I wonder how you turn them upside down without them all falling out.

That looks like more trouble than my system. I just put the turmeric into a bowl, open the capsule and scoop up the powder. Making sure to wear rubber gloves of course...lol. This way, you get the top of the capsule filled as well. Capping by hand is really easy as well. It just seems faster my way. Also...you can easily do it while watching videos :)
