I am not making these videos to scare anyone. I am making them to show how simple and inexpensive it is to stock up a nice pantry for any sort of emergency. By playing the Grocery Game, and watching out for sales at places like Sams, Walmart, Big Lots...little by little you can create an abundance of supplies you and your family would need in a crisis. I thank all of you out there who have created similar videos in preparedness.

  • I don't buy stuff 'just to have' because I find that if I don't normally eat it, even in an emergency, it will just sit on the shelf. I am a prepper, but I only stock up on things that my family normally eats on a daily basis. No Ramen Noodles, no DAK ham, no spam...

  • Ive been storing food for years and sometimes NEED to dip into between paydays (thats an emergency in itself sometimes, lol).

  • Costco has batteries for 9.49

  • be sure to rotate your stock and pull older items to the front

  • Where the heck do you get 25 pound bags of sugar, rice and so on, WOW!

  • loll cool name for your you tube blog.

I have a stock pile and it is nice to have when you are not able to afford a weekly food bill and coupons work good.

awesome you tube blog woot! on that!

  • A good start on your pantry.

Be sure it is stored in a cool dry place.

Be aware of the pests/rodents in your region.

If humidity is problem, then pick up some 02 obsorbers and a seal a meal or food saver vacum processor. Craids list is a great place to pick them up cheap.

Have spices on hand and other otc meds you may need, such as apple cider vinegar for your beans to reduce flatulance.

  • @crewlla I agree. They'd be good to have in an emergency. I was thinking if there was an all out emergency, w/ little power/fuel, bags of beans and rice would require a lot of fuel to cook right.. I suppose they're stored easily, cheap, nutritious, but...need to cook a while. I have no idea what a fish steak is..a sardine maybe?
