previously on Hero: "Where are we going?!" i struggled out of his grasp, but he held me tight. "Somewhere where we can talk." his voice was serious.
(Selena's p.o.v)
He grabbed me tightly around my waist down the dark empty streets. I felt his muscles tense up with frustration as i kept struggling out of his grasp. Wht did Demi say to him that made him so mad? I still kept trying to break free from him, making it harder for him to hold me. He groaned and sighed loudly as he picked me up and held me around his large shoulder.
"Ughh, Nick, let me go!" i demanded, trying to squirm out, but he was so strong. I sighed giving up.
Ater a couple blocks, he made his way to Verona park. What the hell are we doing here? I didnt say anything, knowing that he would just get even more pissed off. He made his way toward a long bench by the swings and he put me down gently. I poutted and crossed my arms.
"Great. Now that you've kidnapped me...ill be going now." I stomped the other direction. Nick sihed as ge intensely grabbed my waist again and pulled me toward him. "Not until we talk." he finally said.
"Theres nothing to talk about." i muttered hiding the tears forming around my eyes.
"Selena--"
"Let me go, Nick!" I interrupted and pounded on his rock hard chest. But i didnt do any damge of course. His muscles were as hard as rocks.
"Not until that you admit you're hurt." He snapped and pulled me closer. I still pounded on his chest trying to get out of his grasp. I felt the tears escaping my eyes as i thought of Taylor...and Miley....and the amount of pain that i went through. I looked at Nick. Looking at him was probably the worst thing that i did, because his eyes said it all. His eyes showed that he was deeply worried about me. Behind the anger and frustration in his voice, i knew that he was concerned.
...and that's when everything fell apart.
i rapidly pushed him away.
"What do you want me to say, Nick?! HUH?! That im in hell?! That he RUINED my life? That my best friend betrayed me?! You already heard it! You heard EVERYTHING!" I screamed as i let everything i could possibly imagine out. I was balling my eyes out.
Nick stood there, looking right at me. Looking on how hurt i was...but i still didnt admit to him one thing yet.
"y-yes.....im hurt." i voice cracked. He came over to me and hugged me tightly, knowing that i needed the comfort.
1 hour later.
We sat by the swings....just talking. Talking about everything. About our favorites, what we like to do...our family. It was like we were telling our life stories to each other. As he told his, i listened, amazed by how much he has been through. How Demi had almost died from asthma, and it was probably the scariest thing hes ever experienced. How his mom and dad almost lost their jobs and he was worried if they were going to keep their house. This side of Nick...i loved....well liked. I guess. I feel like i could talk to him about anything.
"Have you ever loved someone?" i asked as i rocked on the swings. I awaited for his face expression, wondering what he was thinking. Suddenly, he grabbed my swing and stopped me. He slowly got up and intertwined our hands together. It was so natural. So amazingly sensational.
"Only once." a small smile curved around his lips. I scrunched my eyebrows together, wondering who that one person was that he loved.
"And? Who is she?" i waited for his response. His eyes lighted up, looking into my eyes.
"Figure it out, yourself." He smirked as our bodies touched. I blushed and sat down back on the swings.
"I have a bet for you." Nick smirked as i zoned out. I looked up at him.
"I bet i can jump the farthest out of the swings." his eyes lighted up humorously. I laughed.
"Yeah sure we'll see about that." i smirked. "If i win...you have to admit to me that you're in love with me!" i laughed. He rolled his eyes.
"Well if i win...you have to kiss me." he crossed his arms. I looked at him crazily. But i didnt want to back down.
"Deal." I said strongly and started swinging. We both started swinging at the same time.
"1!...2!...3!" we both jumped in unison, trying to reach out the farthest. But it all went down hill as we toppled on top of eachother and rolled down the steep hill.
Nick fell in his back and i fell right on top of him. we laughed on what seemed like forever.
"I win." he stated.
"No, it was a tie." i disagreed. He rolled his gorgeous brown eyes. Remembering what our bets were, we both had to do it.
"Im in love with you." his voice was deep in tone and serious. All the humor was gone, and he said it so sincerely, i...believed him. And now it was my turn. I slowly leaned in. And just when i was about to close my eyes...
"Selena....who did this to you?!" his voice raised as he saw te large scar from my arm.
i looked at him, not wanting to tell him the truth. I pushed me off gently and grabbed my arm revealing the old scar.
"Who did this to you?!" he asked again
