That "shhhhhhh" sound really works to calm babies. I remember using it with my son when he was fussy and it comforted him. Rocking him side to side in my lap with my legs together also helped a lot. It worked for my BIL's ex girlfriend's newborn too when I watched her. The white noise sound is very soothing to babies.

ok just tried it, took 15 mins, but it worked! Not one tear was shed by either of us, this is really cool! ALSO this is the first time I have ever been able to get her to sleep without the breast first, I wonder how long she will sleep for?....

That's a very nice technique, thanks for sharing. That is a good position for a baby with colic as well. Do you do this all the time? I ask because I don't want a baby that won't go to sleep unless they are rocked every time. Some will grow spoiled from rocking them to sleep and grow to expect it.

that baby is to fat, take him to the gym and start working him out early. First do some cardio and then you should try to incorperate some weights, but you have to help it, because he cant lift on his own. Make sure the diet is ok to, 40 % protein 30 fat and carbs. this way he will build muscle and burn fat, remeber to give him enough water and that he rest enought so his muscle get restitution

You are a champion dad man. I had a huge argument with my brother and sister in law because their technique was to through my niece in a room and let her cry her lungs out. After 15 minutes i could not take it and all hell broke loose. My mum picked my niece up did what you did and she was out in about 10. You are a champion parent. Patient, loving and unselfish. My brother and his wife are to lazy and selfish. Thanks for this video.
