  • It's kind of pathetic that my 9700 Pro outlived my 4870x2 lol

  • One of the best graphics cards ever, I still have one running in my server. The 4 pin power connector's starting to break off though :/

  • i had it on my pc, 2k euros one, i kept it since 2009 and worked perfectly!

  • @kawaiifreak860 30+ frames easy! this things got some fight in it

  • @itouchfan4

    Nope.jpg

People have done many things with I.G.P. but none have come close to Discrete graphics not even when compared to older Generations....sorry pal but your not gonna get more FPS in say HL2 or Crysis (whatever) on a IGP vs. Discrete solution.

  • @cdguy47

Depends, on the Games if your running a DX9 game some of (not all) should be able to get 60+FPS on Med/High and some 40+FPS on Med/High others not so well it depends on how they programmed it and when it was made.

    (DX 9 era, or 9.0b/9.0c era I.E. SM2.0 or SM2.0b/SM3.0 era)

    :)

What's hilarious is I plan on actually possibly using one for a Gaming rig I'll be making.

(Cheap one, not some Fancy DX 10/11 rig....I'm NEVER spending even 80 fucking bucks on an operating system let alone 600$ that's just plain bullshit.)

  • you can buy these things on ebay for around 20 bucks today, and as long as you arent playing crysis 2 you are set pretty good for games. just dont expect the best settings

  • Video Cards through out my life first Voodoo 3 2000, This card, 7800GTX PCI-E, 9800GX2, and finally my Radeon 5870. I'm vendor neutral yay :) . This card still sits in my fathers computer, still works great!

  • It was the first 256bit Video card if i remember correctly. Just a great great card for its time.
