Log in control panel. Scroll down and you will see a domain panel, in which click on the icon 'sub domains'. In the next window, enter the prefix of your new sub domain here. You should give the default directory for sub domain. Click the create button and you'll get a notification that you've got a new sub domain added. There is a folder also created where you can upload files for this sub domain. It is located in public_html directory. Click the go back link and you will see the window in which new sub domain is listed. It is not necessary for the sub domain to work, you may also grant virtual FTP access to new domain. You can do it from FTP manager in cPanel. You can also remove the sub domains by clicking on the remove button on the last column of domains.
