Sorry for the rushed production, I just wanted to get something together for you guys to see.

  • @johnwm1234 All the pyros were done with black powder. Always be careful if you plan on attempting it yourself. We have been doing this for 13years.

  • That's wicked

  • This is fucking good!!! :)

  • @MrClimb69 Hey dude, its the internet get over it. If you want to see a perfect war film, make one yourself.

  • 5. The knife is a MACV SOG / SEAL / SF knife. Line INfantry just had Camillus knifes as well as their bayonets. Those knifes where never issued to "normal" line infantry!

    6. There were NO white shirts after ´66 worn in the jungle!

    Best regards,

    M.J.Ward 3rd/101st/187th "Rakkasans" Reenactment

  • 2. As far as I can see the boots are not the ones with the proper lacing.

    3. Apart from the fact that beards were not allowed in the US-Army, the beard of the guy in the beginning is way to modern.

    4. The M1911 Holster is the old, brown leather version! Those were very rarely used in the NAM. After ´66 only the black holsters were used.

  • Well done effects and good filming! But here are some critics that you should be aware of:

    1. Cigarettes were NEVER worn on the helmet! This is just some Hollywood myth and is more or less unauthentic. Cigarettes were worn in pockets, wrapped up in plastic bags or boxes. Those boxes were made from couloured plastic and could be bought in the base PX-store. The weath was way to humid. Try to smoke a cigarette when you got over 80% humidity ;-)

  • you know what i love about this? that you guys actually put time into this, and i noticed a little detail, the smoking! :D it made it look epic!

  • Can't wait to see the finished product! This looks amazing.

  • will you upload the full movie to youtube? if yes when?
