i'm sorry, but i just can't play this game. i refuse to play a game in which i jump ahead 10000 years to ancient roman times and then devolve 2000 years into ancient egyptians. that just bugs me.

also, the AI pisses me off.

I remember in AOW 1 during the space age, if you had all possible cannons ions, they could actually hit the enemy base by accident if they missed their target. :D I beat the game like that a few times.

another dumb thing i dont get... is that like 20 cavemen can kill 1 machine gun guy................. i went to hacked version.... that makes no sense wouldnt just 1 machine gun kill all instantly but if they evade bullets it wud just take one..... cuz a hit to the head wif a rock or a club..... ummmm i think they would die....

the best strategy for this game is just to use your infantry as tankers and suport as attack, send one tank and in the back 2-5 support depends on the suport range so max up the range most important then infantry defence after that support attack and infantry attack (all though just check what things you are in need to upgrade i just numbered the most important) the income is important too. just do tht and you will defeat the insane difficulty
