British Religious Leaders comment on the passing of Princess Diana. Broadcast at about 10.50pm on the day she died.

The leaders are:

The Chief Rabbi, Dr (now Sir) Jonathan Sacks (Jewish)

Professor Zaki Badawi (died 2006) (Muslim)

Cardinal Basil Hume (died 1999) Roman Catholic

Reverend Sandy McDonald, moderator of the Church of Scotland (Presbyterian) (He is the father of Dr Who actor, David Tennant)

In the next part, Rev. McDonald finishes his statement and is followed by his English counterpart, Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr George Carey.
