So I'm going to try the 100 Up Challenge, found here:
http://hundredup.com/
My friend Justin Owings Tweeted about this the other day and I thought it sounded really interesting. I've been wanting to start running and this seemed to be the perfect opportunity.
So I haven't ran since 2006ish. I have pretty bad exercise induced asthma. Running is going to be a bit of a challenge.
So my thought with this challenge is what would happen if someone starts using this exercise from the beginning? What if a person who is WAY OUT OF SHAPE starts running by trying to have proper form?
So as the video shows, I can't run much at all right now. But I can only get better from here.
So I'm off and running.
100 Up Challenge here I come!

@imnotscott Good call! My wife said the same thing. And in terms of total distance, I ran / walked around 1.25 miles (two laps of approx .66 miles each).
I'll be sure to add on a little distance the next effort. The whole not being able to breath things sucks (both out of shape and asthma issues). But I'm going to see if I can't push through it some.
Thanks for jumping in, Scott!

Best of luck Ivan. My 2 cents worth for helping you to get started would be to try for a little longer distance (maybe 2 miles?) even if you have to walk part of it. Keep at it and HAVE FUN!
Cheers,
Scott
