This portable writing waterfall was developed for trade shows and conferences, making its first appearance at the 2011 Offshore Technology Conference in Houston. It uses a National Instruments Programmable Automation Controller (cRIO-9073) and a user interface, or HMI, that was written in LabVIEW. The cRIO has way more capability than this application requires, so we have a ton of room for future modifications. The waterfall structure stands about 7ft tall with a 4ft x 4ft base. The entire waterfall breaks down easily to be transported in the tub that catches the water at the bottom. Stay tuned for upgrades! www.optimation.us
