I am an aspiring entrepreneur and I too would like to start my company in the U.S. and hire U.S. citizens, but the immigration barriers seem almost impregnable to me. I do not have $1m of disposable cash to qualify for an EB-5 visa and like what you've said obtaining green card via H1 visa takes way too long. (and it's not even guaranteed) Fortunately, American lawmakers are finally realizing that their xenophobic policies are doing more harm than good to America.
