We need a revival of this opera with Fleming: say what you might, this is the best written opera of the last 20 years.

She should sing this again, she is made for this part. Forget Armida, and sing a part that was made for you, like this one.

I think she missed an opportunity during this era to really reinvigorate American operas and pull out some wonderful American music that is never performed. Too bad... she had a knack for it.
