It's hard to explain. the batter is semi sweet like a pancack. The egg is overpowered by the taste of celantro and red pepper. There is a sweet bean curd taste as well. It actually tastes pretty good but a little spicy. I wish I couold have shown up with some bacon and cheese and have her throw some on. But Bacon and Cheese is hard to come by.
