Paragliding inland Suffolk

6th Feb 2010 first known ridge soaring in suffolk thats not coastal on a small hill with strong wind, lots of fun had two pilots flying at one point. adam ladd is pilot in video.

@mdf1958 who do you have to speak too to use the hill? went and had a look at it today, looks good but the fieldis full of sheep. is there anywhere else in suffolk that you know about

We said with enough wind it would be soar-able, didn't realise how much WIND it would need..

super fun!!!!!i am tony from the video tony and al flying which is me and my brother trying similar spots,we are lucky enough to have a south facing mini cliff right near us!!!!!nice work and nice control,looks quite windy!!!!!well done!!!

About 14mph when we got there but as thermal started coming throught it was 12-20 I would guess. The trick was to get in the air then have a gust
