www.fiercelight.org

From the Director of Scared Sacred & The Producer of The Corporation

"Fierce Light" is a feature documentary that captures the exciting movement of Spiritual Activism that is exploding around the planet, and the powerful personalities that are igniting it.

http://www.alivemindmedia.com/films/f... "A SPIRITUAL KALEIDOSCOPE OF HOPE AND JOY. UPLIFTING!" ~ Green Muze Magazine "HUGELY ENGAGING AND VISUALLY DELIGHTFUL." ~ Toronto Sun

"A POETIC CALL TO HEARTFELT ACTION." ~ Common Ground

"ACHINGLY BEAUTIFUL." ~ NewCityFIlm, Chicago

"INTENSE AND INSPIRING." ~ Examiner National

"RAW, HONEST AND COMPELLING." ~ CJSF Radio

"COURAGEOUS .... POTENT ... AUTHENTIC." ~ Enlightennext Magazine

"INCREDIBLY MOVING! A SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE IN ITSELF!" ~Vancouver International Film Festival

"A TOUCHING PORTRAIT OF THE POWER OF
RIGHTEOUSNESS AND LOVE..." -New Orleans Times-Picayune

Fueled by the belief that "another world is possible," the film portrays stories of what Martin Luther King called "Love in Action," and Gandhi called "Soul Force"; what Ripper is calling "Fierce Light." Acclaimed filmmaker Velcrow Ripper (Scared Sacred) takes an insightful look at change motivated by love, featuring interviews with spiritual activists Thich Nhat Hanh, Desmond Tutu, Daryl Hannah, Julia Butterfly Hill, and more.

After watching Fierce Light I felt like maybe there's a chance that humanity will make it through the current world crises after all... After seeing this film I feel less alone and more hopeful, like the world has many genuinely spiritual people trying to make the world a better place whether they label themselves that way or not. A truly powerful documentary and work of art with masterful direction and sound design.

So we shouldn't do any logging? You do know that by not logging you make forest fires more likely. When you have too many trees it increases forest fires, which means that you end up destroying what you wouldn't to save.

Trees breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Humans breathe in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Because of this interdependency, our fate is linked. What we do to the trees, we do to ourselves.

There is no shortage of trees. It is typical of liberals to give more legal protection's to trees than unborn babies. I'd also like to see you collect medicare without young people to pay for it.

Dumb Liberals! Julia should be in jail for blocking lumber companies from their lawful actions. Liberals murder millions of babies in abortion clinics every but get upset about a dumb tree. Get perspective.

Yes, there are many people at work all over the globe. Rather than fight the old energy paradigms, transcend them by creating anew. Thank you for this film.
