This is dedicated to my long standing best friend since the 1st grade in South Africa, who now resides as a true patriot in and of, "The United States of Amnesia." Leaving South Africa just after matriculating.

That means passing the 12th grade.

Don't get me wrong, I Love America, My brother and sister were born there, but when you live there too long, I've noticed it can really change a person.

I recently posted a picture (from the internet), onto my facebook page that playfully read, "Wake up and Smell the Fascism", written on a mug of coffee with a picture of the American Flag printed on it.

He then took it on himself to get personally offended (as if it were directed at him), and as if he so 'modestly' believed that he might be the only friend or (American friend) that I have.

So in a most childish moment of complete Paranoia, he pathetically decided to ban me from his Facebook page like a little spiteful 8 year old girl, but also
because I had chosen to update my OWN Status message a day later, Which unfortunately was the straw that broke 'his' camels back, since it read,

"Its okay to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege"

I only put that there on that day when I happened upon a previously downloaded webpage of bumper stickers that I thought were funny, and may give ALL my friends a smile.

But no. Again Paranoia set in, helping Ian believe I wrote it personally aiming it at him. It took me a while to understand where he was coming from, but then I realize this because I know he is so sensitive to criticism and thought that I
am so heartless enough to call my best friend stupid.

Now, I'm not so sure. Maybe you do need a little therapy Ian.

Most people who aren't paranoid would never assume things that they aren't fully sure about, but then again there are others who no matter what the
situation, decide to choose to believe their own delusions without questioning that they could possibly be wrong and so take action on their own 'stuff/issues' by projecting them out onto others. So with all the power of the click of a button, he banned me from his facebook page, and now I'm really crying a river.

Facebook : A great new place to lose friends.

I do forgive him for being so highly paranoid but he is not my friend now until he recognizes his momentary dip into insanity for what it was, and apologizes for his own rage filled, impulsive and regrettable actions.

Which is highly unlikely because I believe he has too much pride.

After all.

He is living the American Dream now, which seems can change some people from being the closest and most real of friends into something more along the lines of a superficial upper class snob who thinks he is better
than others, knows more than others, and is highly sensitive to criticism, especially the country he finds himself trying so hard to fit in, and thus feels the need to proactively defend.

Taking any opinion personally.

Talk about EGO !

and especially the friend he now looks down on, due to his hugely expanded egotism and finely polished narcissistic nature.

(Which I'm sure was just lying dormant until now).

Depending on the responses I get, or don't get,

...there may be sequels. So stay tuned.

Enjoy ! Good Memories, Good Times.

and No BULLSHHHITTT !

that was a personal joke of ours ;)

So grow up Ian. before its too late.

Thanks China !
