DC needed 3 points to climb further up the table and get home field advantage in the playoffs 2nd leg. Both teams fought a tough game with many fouls and body checks. Christian gomez scored with a bicycle kick in the first half and DC managed to keep the score like that for the rest of the game, playing a man down for 20 minutes when Dema Kovalenko (who else) was sent off.
