Thankyou for this video--I had a door knob with a cover plate hiding the screws and other videos seem to only show how to remove door knobs that have openly accessible screws. It was a relief to finally find your instructions!

What happens if the door knob was broken with a sledgehammer

I have a paddle type door handle for the main entrance, it wont open from the inside unless you left the handle upward then push down then the door will open. Sometimes you would have to do it acouple more times to get the door open, any ideas on how to fix it beofre I go buy a whole new assembly?

What about taken that type of door knob off. I looking to change locks with the very same style you showed there. However can't seem to see where it all comes apart. I can get one side off but the other remains tight??
