My interview with NFL Hall of Famer Bob Griese. Griese is an Evansville native and was back in his hometown to raise money for local sports. Griese has always been one of my favorites, and it was a privilege to talk with him. This took place on February 7th, 2009 in Evansville, IN

Yeah. Even wen colombian people really don't eat Tacos as mexicans and americans do. Griese just should pick the right comment wen he wanna seem funny. By the way, hispanic doesn't mean mexican.

Agreed....political correctness is ruining this country. Bob tried to ad lib, made a mistake, and apologized. That should be enough, but not for the political correctness morons who want the man fired.
I grew up admiring Bob Griese as both a great QB and man of character; my feelings about him are exactly the same today. We all make mistakes and say things we later regret; thank God most of us don't do it in front of millions of tv viewers and later see our mistake posted on Youtube.

yoyoma22, relax. He said a man of hispanic heritage was out having a taco. Good grief, are we really so freaking weak as a society that we can't even talk about the cuisine typical of a certain culture? Man, that's sad if true. Griese's comment was unfortunate, but he's still a class act.

I am very disturbed by Bob Griese's comment earlier today regarding Juan Pablo Montoya. I used to think Bob Griese was a class act. I was wrong. It was absolutely shameful and I hope ESPN does the appropriate thing and fires him.

You know, another thing about this interview-- I've always read that he wanted to go to Notre Dame, so that was interesting that he refuted that.

i think you're right-- I think he was 12-1 as a college pitcher. Nice interview. I was surprised that he seemed taken aback by your mentioning the St. Louis game. He even mentioned that game in some recent book where players remember certain moments of their careers-- I forget what the book is called now. Anyway, I remember that game.
