@RaptorBanana they are practising for the time they have to fight for domination of their own mob. There is only one male in a mob (group) of kangaroos, so the biggest and strongest gets to pass on his genes. When they are young they do lots of boxing with their mum and then when they get older they spar with younger males in their mob. The hand motions are very common just prior to a fight.
awwwwww why are they fighting? :( and at the start it looked like they were talking with hand motions :)
