I think she'll be a good Luffy, but then again, anything is better than the 4Kids version.

Well screw u guys who think she doesnt do a good impersonation of Luffy because the WHOLE point IS to make Luffy sound imature because it fits his character so well. And anyways i have never known ANYBODY who doesn't love or like One Piece. I recomend this show to everyone who hasn't seen this show, its fricken awesome! People will say that the early episodes were horribly animated, but that seems like such a minor flaw, compared to how much fun the series is! :)

I am sorry but this not a good reason just my opinion to me I think Collien does a good job voice Luffy and some lines she does better then the japanese.

you're comparing her to the SOUND of the japanese version. Voice acting isn't all about who has a cooler voice, sure it helps but not what its about. When comparing dubs it has to be how the VA portray the characters they play, and the roll of luffy is played out pretty well through both the funi and the original japanese. If we were to compare just the sound of their voice then I would say that the japanese version has her beat b/c it sounds tight. but other than that its pretty =.

One Piece is tight, I remember answering a question on another website when a guy asked what animes should he watch, and he hasn't seen One Piece but said he would give it a shot but was kinda worried Then some girl commented on it saying that shes never seen One Piece but her brother has and her brother said it was boring I was thinking what the hell is wrong with him? WHAT is boring about One Piece. don't worry I'll wait......
