and now its high prices and low standards!!

Never mind the hilariously funny label - it should've gone to the Down down campaign that's slapping people in the faces. Why not go along with 'nostalgic'?

Down, Down.

Sorry dude but the hilarious funny in the title is a little misleading dont you think

@tubester4567 Yes they do the petrol points here too in certain grocery stores. In our pharmacies here or what you call a Chemist, we have a points thing, where you can save on allergy medicine and things, We used to have a grocery store in our state called Winn Dixie, before they left, they had a Baby Rewards plan, Which was wonderful, because my nephews were still in nappies and baby formula. You got money off these baby items.

@Sheri451 Kind of, we have cards like"Flybuys" or "Rewards" at Safeway where you get points for buying stuff and after a while you get free stuff, like frequent flyer points for airlines. They do have special offers for card holders too. They also have other discounts like if you show your supermarket receipt at selected petrol stations you get 5 cents/litre cheaper on your fuel.

This was not funny. It was just a supermarket advertising their specials. Do you have a store savings card in your supermarkets? Here we have them, you sign up for one and it comes in the mail. You take it to the supermarket and when you buy the cards specials, you get a discount. You save money with it.

stuff that's better than the crap we get from the US anyway.
Better than that 'Down down prices are down" bullshit anyway.
