BA Frostbreath, Azure lore Hyst. Barrage, Headbutt, fren. rip, vorpalblade D.death o___O headbut...WTF? xD

He almost went down, but I got owned by Seraph Blade right before I was able to drop the last Hysteric Barrage to do him in. Hit me for 208 damage and I had about 211 hp left. D: With 3 HP remaining I was midcast on Hysteric when a sword swing smacked me for 110.

Bah I'm 0/2 on this now.. It's annoying me. I go in, get 200% tp form wing and opo necklace. Eat sole sushi, buff up with zephyr mantle + diamondhide, use a hi ether, and drink regen/refresh drinks. go in, 2hr, BA frost breath, cocoon, CA vorpal to hyst barrage, D scissors etc.. and i get F'ing owned by normal sword hits, head butt and fast blade O.o its retarded.

Did you do all of that in order? 'cause I'd use cocoon before frost breath. :P Honestly, though. It sounds like you're doing it better than I did. Ah, well. As long as you're aware that a good 49% of this BCNM is luck, then you'll know that every attempt is worth making. ^^ Best of luck!

I"m a Galka Blue Mage currently at level 70, and I'm going to do this BLU fight, I have a quick question. When you walked into the fight you had 200 TP, but you only used one Icarus Wing. How exactly did you manage that? So far I have calculated that with my current MP, I only have 7 spells to kill him in before MP dies out. And you did it by about that many spells, but the extra WS would be a great help.

Well, first of all, good luck! I think that so long as you actually use your starting TP to SC (I panicked and more-or-less wasted mine), that's enough to knock, I'd say a spell or two off there. Just do that, and open with frost breath.

But to answer your question, (I had to watch this thing for the first time in forever to make sure) I didn't. :P I had 101% tp as soon as I pulled my sword out, quality ain't great though so it's not difficult to misread TP. :P

Well i gave this fight a shot for the first time tonight. Spent a week preparing. The only problem is getting people to help you hunt Hysteric Barrage since my Assault Rank isn't high enough for that one mission. I started off strong dropped him down to about 1/6th then all the sudden, Savage Blade -> Bludgeon -> Frenetic Rip and i'm dead. it was painful to say the least. I went in Minus the Opo-Opo Neck.
