Tranquility (Original Short Film)

Directed By Dorian Kingi, Winner of The Accolade Awards "Award Of Merrit" in 2008.
In the Korean War of 1952, a young Korean girl and an American Soldier find themselves lost between heaven and earth. Through their conversations, the two discover that they have been a part of a battle, which will change their lives forever.

tranquility.. this film sent shivers down my spine at the very end. May the dead Rest In Peace. I love how the director used clever cues of gunshots and explosions to emphasize the "tranquility" in the following scenes where the conversation between the soldier and the little girl took place. The switches and contrast between loud and quiet had a huge impact on my experience viewing the film. Very well done. Nice video quality as well. Tranquility is something we indeed take for granted...
