While this is a good review, the repetitive nature of the gameplay really doesn't merit a 90%, at least from what you speak of. I really thought plowing through these hundreds of missions was utterly crap.
As great as the story was, I personally don't think it needed Genesis at all. He's there because he was in Dirge of Ceberus' secret ending, which merited another FFVII sequel that'll never happen (thank God). It's a decent game still, and sooner or later I'll make a review of my own.
