Your tank is good the only bad things is you need a better filter something that shoots water out into the water to create a high flowing stream. Look up on Petsmart turtle clean 501 this is a really good filter. Map turtle need a lot of oxygen because where they live are in fast streams! ;)

wow:D! Nice set up..Do you recomend this breed of turtle? Are they genrenally easy to look after?! I am looking for some turtles and these seem the most attractive and they don't get too big!:)

3 years on they are in a 6 foot tank and swimming and bigger than my hand! and happy and healthy i have 4 now!

hopefully they were later rescued from this tank. It's about 100 gallons too small. The rule of thumb is 10 gallons per inch based on full grown adult size.

yes i have them ina massive tank now and about to go bigger again!!! this was the first week we were given them

you have UVB lamp and heat lamp on that tank? Hopefully not just a normal strip light for an aquarium.
