She is a kiwi, but as part of her breaking into the big wide world she moved to Australia, I mean, it makes sense really. Almost every kiwi artist tries to break into the Australian market. And she was a household name after just one album so it was smart to move to a bigger market. Hence the Hillsong thing, girls gotta have a church to go to. Why not be one where she already knew a lot of people and that has a great music team.
