when u do the part "me and you" is it the same priciples as pigsqueeling?

@6spawn6ofsatan6 If you're referring to pig squealing by inhaling and closing up the throat, then no. It's like growl-talking. You talk in a normal voice, but push with grittiness and it should eventually click into this mixture of your voice and a growl. The pitch that your voice puts out sounds an octave lower because of it. :) Pull up a live Cradle of Filth vid and see how Dani talks in between songs, that's what you should aim for...just speak with a lower pitch.

@Ridley1563 Hey, man, what do you mean by "grittiness"? I'm trying to do that same voice. I don't get how to, though.

@JM94FL It involves closing the upper region of your throat while pushing your voice through it. This takes a lot of finesse and SHOULD NOT be painful. If it begins to hurt, you might be doing it too loud or pushing too much air, in which case you can do some potential damage to your throat (mine bled plenty whilst learning how to do this) or vocal cords. Make sure your air comes from the diaphragm, so it's like a lot of power funneling through a slight closing at the top of the throat.
