Chief of Army Staff addresses Sesqui Centennial Ceremony of an Armour Regiment - 17th Nov 2008

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani addressing troops on the occasion of Sesqui Centennial Ceremony of an Armour Regiment at Pano Aqil Garrison. He appreciated the services and sacrifices of officers and jawans of the Regiment which they have rendered for the defence of the country. General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani also visited the Division Headquarters where he was briefed about the operational and administrative matters. He also visited the training area and saw the troops engaged in realistic and extensive training. Earlier, the COAS laid a floral wreath at Shuhada’s Monument (Pakistan Chowk) and offered Fateha. Corps Commander Karachi, Lieutenant General Shahid Iqbal was also present on the occasion.
