The perfect hymn for this f*#ked up situation we are in! The story: I fell in love with a photo of a protest sign I saw in some magazine around August 2008. It simply said: 'Jump You Fuckers', and it made my day...Just recently I needed some light After Effects material for my portfolio and I wanted to do something with this sign. I came across this video from Gene and I just had to rip it and make it into a video (well kinda) and I didn't even tell him! Gene Burnett here...Thanks everyone for commenting, positive or negative. The song is available for downloading free or with a donation at my site. It's from an older album called "Maybe Nothing's Wrong~Part One". It's also available on iTunes and CD Baby, but it'll cost you a buck. I wrote it to blow off steam, having no idea it'd do the same for so many people. I actually don't want anyone to jump. It's just fun to tell them to. ;~) I have a ukelele/Occupy Chase version on my channel too.

@chucksterjr My friend, you have no idea how hard I work or what I want. I am far more libertarian than liberal. I wrote this in 2009 because I was angry that the financial class had so fucked things up that a hard working person such as myself would have to suffer from this crippling recession through no fault of my own. I don't know what the current protest is really about yet and the protestors are certainly not "mine". This thing is just beginning. For now, I'm keeping an open mind on it.

Those I associate with, my coworkers (Yes...work with real jobs making something), family and friends support the Occupy movements and hope it achieves the original goal of getting money influence out of politics! As for this song, here in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, the people love it! Was showing it to a group of good ole boys at the local mom and pop corner store and they were howling saying they wish those f^*kers would jump... or be hanged!
