A short video, by Alan Roth, is about the photographer Masumi Hayashi. Ms. Hayashi was born in the Gila River relocation camp in 1945, where her parents and sister were relocated during World War II. Her photo examination of this memory is the focus of this documentary.
Ms. Hayashi's photography career is known internationally. She was shot and killed in August 2006.
