Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 Movie Review:Farewell Hogwarts! Mischief Managed

Ahh man. If there ever was a word to describe the end of this wonderful franchise.........bittersweet.
I cannot believe that it has come to an end........well It's been fun! A great ending to a great series.

This may sound like a dumb question, but why is it that Voldemort wanted to kill Harry in the first place? I could understand he was humiliated that he couldn't even kill a baby, but that raises the question why did he attack Harry's parents in the first place?

@shikamaru5608 It all has to do with the Prophecy my friend. There was a tale of a boy who would one day kill The Dark Lord (Voldemort). It was later revealed that the child who would defeat him was born on October 31st. Harry was born on that date and he was also a baby wizard born from a powerful bloodline. Voldemort wanted to take no chances so he murdered Harry's parents (who were protecting him) in order to get to him who was at the time still an infant.

@MyKelly85 if they reboot harry potter then that would be a very bad idea because even in 2019 it would be too early to reboot this series ..Its bad that nowadays the reboot term is used for milking franchises rather than making them fresh

This is my nitpicking but not much:

The scene when Neville was giving his speech about not running away never happened in the book. In the book, after Voldemort announced Harry's "demise", Neville immediately ran up towards them with Godric Gryffindor's Sword and killed Nagini.

@NeoGameSpark I actually heard that they are planning to do a reboot to Harry Potter in 2014. Except this time they are going to americanize the franchise though still hold all the same elements and story plot that the other films did.
