Note: YES, I KNOW THAT THESE ARE MOVIES AND THEREFORE FICTIONAL. This is for FUN and because I'm tired of correcting people when they say "28 Days Later" or "Quarantine" are zombie movies.

It is a common misconception that zombies and the infected are the same thing. This video points out the differences between the two forms of outbreak in the hopes of clearing up this misunderstanding and to help others properly plan for the coming apocalypse.

  • Im usually quiet, running & other ways wise. I can easily scale 10 foot high concrete walls. I free-run (parkour: the art if moving) in my free time, basically I can get out if many situations that many others can not. parisi speed school. 9 years of lacrosse. And a physical and mental problem solver.

    ...

If I become infected, people are going to be screwed!

  • @freakypillow Actually, because of your mad skills, you're more likely to survive and thus definitely less likely to become infected in the first place. However, if you were to become infected, you're right, people would be screwed.

  • as far as the Romero movies go, their remakes cannot compare, however, come on! Dawn of the Dead was by far the best of the remakes! and though Romero's version is better, i'm still fine with watching this one.

Day of the Dead is unforgivable though xD

  • @61442 You know, I've rewatched the remake since making this video and have to say that I may have been a little harsh. The 2004 remake does have some good moments to it, even though I love the original so much more. :)

  • Wtf ur a Fuking idiot Im a Person Who Know Zombies AND Infected Are The damn same But They Do Eat i kno i watch all movies

  • U fucking joking right........?

  • if i become infected kill me .... dont isolate me shoot me in the head ill thank you while your doing too

  • Slightly wrong on the decomp time...if a zombie is in the water, it starts to mummify, and it may take up to ten years for bones to decom into dust, however it would take less then a year (in most enviroments) for the muscles and/or ligaments to decompose into worthless bits, rendering the zombie useless. Add the factor that using muscles causes rip in the muscles (which a living persons body repairs, while a zombies body would not) and you have short "lifespans" huzzah for mortician knowledge!

  • I wouldn't go as far as saying DOTD 04 is terrible, since it's quite entertaining, however Classic Romero type zombies are my preference as well. : )

  • Hey Andrea - why dont the infected die of dehydration in 3 days? What makes you think they drink water and not eat? Its all fictional

  • @freakypillow So you'd be a hunter... LOL

  • Whenever people confuse zombies with Infected traits, I show them this video. Your awesome :D

  • @DavidToddSchiesler i agree, look at rabies, thats transfered by bitting, and animals with it bite alot, is it a problem, no, so zombies would not be so serios

  • It just seems so lame to see those rotted slow walking corpses actually killing some one in a movie. The infected are much more entertaining. The walking Dead show on AMC has running zombies. Although they look cheap as hell at least they run.
