, Most of the shows on tv are filmed on private farms and ranches utilized exclusively for Mature Whitetail deer management. Anyone who can shoot a bow well can harvest a 160" or better buck if a guide sits you on the stand. Insert Tiffany Lekoski into last sentence under (anyone). Most of the guys and girls who are supposed to be our peers probably couldn't kill a decent deer on public ground. The big buck phenomena is killing hunting, don't let it. That said, I too love Stan's enthusiasm.
@lewandlo I took an eight point buck in October with a home made longbow, pulling 62 pounds at 28", and an arrow fletched with a Turkey wing I shot with a flintlock musket. I took the deer from the ground, without camo clothing. I take at least one archery deer a year.
I know how to do it; that's why guys like Potts make me laugh. All you do when you hunt like that is deprive yourself of the knowledge and woodcraft that makes one a hunter. That knowledge applies to all aspects of life.
Just try to hunt deer...I bet you would go hungry for sure. It is not easy to shoot a wild deer. These guys doing videos go to where deer are never pushed around . It it easier where they go but you obviously know nothing about hunting deer. See ya in the canned goods isle there skinny.
A fat guy with an ear ring shoots what is essentially a farm raised animal, then he gets so excited he almost breaks down. That's the Stan Potts I see here.
BTW, "Fat" and "Hunter" are polar opposites. Whenever I see some fat guy with a baseball style hat and a fuzzy beard fist pumping after "hunting" an animal, I just laugh. Fatboys, there's a reason that Daniel Boone wasn't fat. Just go buy your meat.
Stan Potts IS THE MAN!!! I met this guy in person at a seminar and he shared some awesome stand placement tips!

What a disgrace this guy is to hunting. Typical yankee showing no respect for the animal.
