A lone astronaut, miles from home.

Transmission was written and produced for the University of North Texas' Radio, Television, and Film Program, in Professor James Martin's Digital Narrative course. The majority of the principal photography was completed within Moviestorm, while some short live-action clips were shot on location in Denton, TX. Some final post FX work was done in Adobe Flash, and editing was completed within Adobe Premiere; voiceover recording was done in Pro Tools and recorded at the University of North Texas.

This film features the talent of Michael Percival and Lara Woodhull on voice work, and Davis Kouk as a live actor, as well as music by Josh Woodward (www.joshwoodward.com). Additional foley sound came from the NASA archives and Daniel Polli (orbiter.dansteph.com).

Official selection, Dragon*Con Machinima 2011
