All my sikh brothers and sisters please appreciate that small countries like Pak, Nepal, Bangladesh or Iraq...They are independent but do you think that they have done any progress worth appreciation. No small nation can progress of its own..Somebody has rytly said...United we stand..Divided we fall. So, Its good to fight against the injustice happened to us but not by seeking a separate nation. A separate state with all the common ryts and privilage is enough...

satin25in - we must realize that what is called development achieved by this so-called united India is becoming a curse for slave nations of this country. See what is happening farmers of Punjab; exploitation... cancer... suicides, Punjab has contributed 60% wheat and 40% rice to indian food pool in past decade but Punjab is denied legitimate right to river water and hydal-power.

What ever may be the position of Pakistan, Iraq, Bangladesh etc. it is not a matter for us as their are other countries (almost 28 countries are smaller than present day Punjab) that are separate and developed and prosperous. For us Kosovo is the example.

Just Imagine what would be India without Punjab, starving without even food.

Fighting injustice is gud but real thing to stop injustice is to root up the real cause of injustice and that is political slavery.

..To let know all my other (non-sikh) Indians, we sikhs have not got punjabi (gurmukhi) as a regional language approved for the state of punjab....Why? Why we are deprived of that when Maharashtra has marathi approved, Gujrat has gujrati approved and so on.... Moreover....do you know constitution of India regards today also sikhs as part of hindus for all purpose 9ex, marriage....why so when everybody know that sikhism is a separate religion...Why is this indiscrimination against us...
