Who cares if it's not Halloween! This has to be seen just for the part when The Grinch's eyebrows fly off his head.

So cringeworthy that it's good. From 1977. Pretty sure Danny Elfman took most of his inspiration for the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack from this.

Hans Conried (who also played Captain Hook in Disney's Peter Pan) did an excellent job at a villain as did Gary Shapiro as our humble protagonist. Also, for alternative music choices, during the part inside the paraphanailia wagon, mute the sound on the video and play the song 5:15 from the Who album Quadrophenia

I actually fine that really interesting. I noticed that when the wagon was opened at 18:43, all the things that come out have a simple or almost undefined shape. In this way, it makes the spooks feel more like some fear that a child may have a nightmare about. That's brilliant! Kudos to you, Dr. Seuss!
