This PBS medical series explores illnesses one at a time and features a panel of physicians and other experts assessing individual cases.
Many Americans assume tuberculosis is a disease of the past, but the reality is one-third of the world's population is infected with TB—an estimated 10 to 15 million people in the United States alone. Second Opinion explores this historic disease and what you need to know to protect yourself.

How have they turned this into a discussion about immigrants ?
What is it about living in poverty that makes people more likely to have TB ?

Interesting yet it fails to highlight the lack of treatment worldwide. Failing to treat it as pandemic has consistently led to maltreatment with antibiotics causing multi drug resistant and extensively drug resistant strains. Before long, TB will be undiagnosable AND uncurable, and closing the borders here in the US won't be good enough to keep it out.
