Haruno Sakura -Save Your Life-

In my opinion one of the greatest fictional females of our generation. Haruno Sakura is a real tribute, starting off as some kids of that age do. As a stereotype, which prevents people from seeing who they really are. Sometimes it takes a big event or change in ones life to break the routine of a normal, every day, mundane life and shock people in to changing their lives forever. Its somethign that happens in real life and its a pleasure to see it happpening in a story as well written as Naruto.

Even i must say how annoyed i was by her at the beginning but if you see any notes on her by Kishimoto he states that when he created her this is exactly what he wanted. An annoying young girl (with good intentions) and he hit the nail on the head. He never expected for her to be the lead heroine but she has grown in to it and quite well i might say. Her crush on Sasuke has been utterly forgotten or boxed away and kept on hold because she knows theres more going on in life than her trivial feelings.

For me there is no longer any 'pairing' love in Naruto. A few crushes floating around here and there but they're kids, you cant blame them. Sakura's love for the two boys, Naruto and Sasuke is something entirely different. I cant describe it by saying friend, mother, sister or lover because its all and none. She has become almost masculine in her own way of wanting to protect both the boys from themselves and eachother. She can see how much Sasukes departure is killing Naruto and has resolved to bring Sasuke back, not for herself but for Naruto and shes more than willing to do this by herself if she has to.

Because Naruto is so incredibly over rated, other characters like Sakura tend to be down played. People dont like to admit it but Naruto hasnt learnt much during his time with Jiraiya except that now kage bunshin isnt utterly useless and he can use rasengan with more flavors. Im not saying hes weak, far from it. We all know his strength and he grows at a slow pace for Kishimoto to evolve his story but right now his battle ability is nothing to write home about. His reliance of the kyuubi and its chakra has crippled him imo. Sasuke is just ridiculously over powered judging by his recent escapades in the manga but then he always was a prodigy wasnt he? Sakura has spent the last 2 and a half years training herself with the hokage, not a task one takes lightly unless they have a death wish. I dont think she should be put down because she and Tsunade are women. She may not be the ultimate super ninja but shes something very special and as time goes by shes only going to get better. My point isnt that she saves lives, not takes them. Its that she saves lives but if anything gets in her way, shes more than killer enough to take them. The girl is a wonderful character to protect and care for Naruto and Sasuke, whos characters just seem to scream for someones unconditional love.

@samanthanaruto I made this like, yeaaaars ago and the song was just this totally random one i downloaded. Digging deep in my memory bank i wanna say its a song by the band 'The Brilliant Green' but i can't say for sure, im sorry. :( if it was, it would have been a song released around 2005 or so.

If you want emotion I would say you watch Clannad or something, don't wanna rain on your parade but I don't see naruto as a very intriguing story. Also the amount of things that happen and flashbacks and recaps in one episode is just sad.

@MrPandawesome At this point down the line id be inclined to agree with you. I made this video years ago, Shippuuden was new and the pacing was really good early in the series. Things have changed now, ive gotten older and grown out of anime to an extent, only watch it once in a blue moon but it doesnt change the fact that I really like Sakura and every aspect of her conception and growth, shes pretty much the only reason i ever go near the series.

I LOVE this video. Sakura is my favorite female manga/anime character of ALL time. I admire her and heck, this may sound nerdy, but she's actually my inspiration to drive me when I myself train or work out. Her growth in the series is the best of anyone, her role isn't HUGE but it's very important, and she's very, very admirable. Even though she is NOT the most powerful ninja out there, she's still incredibly strong in her own way.

And, I find her absolutely gorgeous. Stunningly beautiful..

@xTenTenXShippuudenx I've just been rewatching Naruto from the very start, and i dont think theres hardly any women in this show at all. I mean honestly its one of the biggest man-fests of the modern era, but out of everyone around i do think she is without a doubt the most beautiful girl in the show. I mean i think they're all quite pretty in their own way, but who she is brings out a lot of flair in the way she is drawn. Her expressions are painfully direct.

This love Sakura truely is an amazing character from Naruto, or any anime show that is, and she's so strong since she's able to hold her love for Sasuke for so long.
