This is a timelapse of a design I did for a buddy's deck. Note to self: painting / drawing on grip tape suxxxx! It was like drawing on sandpaper. Still, at least the image will be a little more preserved (opposed to doing the design on the bottom of the board..)

I'm happy with how the timelapse turned out. I'm slowwwwwly figuring out how to encode better quality in Premiere.

Anyways all that technical BS outta the way, thanks for watching!!

(The song is "Saul Williams - Break" from the album The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust! I in no way am claiming the audio as my own creation, I thought the content of the song fit the content of the drawing to a certain extent. Thanks.)

  • yo if you make me one how much would you charge? :O

  • @heru567 hey, thanks for watching, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, I'd been away from Youtube for awhile. What would be a price you'd be comfortable with? And we can go from there... I live in Utah, so shipping would also factor in... Take care,

  • god i wish u was my tattoo artist!!!!!

  • @envases haha, thanks.. I have designed a few tattoos for people, but don't have any experience actually inking people myself. I'd be worried I'd screw it up!

  • @ooftaZone Thanks, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I did end up putting a sealant on it but just like an enamel clearcoat that you'd use to seal something like spraypaint. It ended up making the green of the grip tape a little darker and I could just be being paranoid but it gave it kind of a sheen that makes it a little more slick than before. I could just be wiggin out about it haha.. The person I made it for I think got it more as a display piece than to actually use though...

  • Very slick. Would you put a mat coat over that yet?
